1962
- Began as part of the Santa Clara Parks and Recreation Dept.
as "The Santa Clara Community Theater"
- First Production "My Thee Angels"
- No Specific Space--Performed In Schools
- Performed As A Traveling Show
1968 - Became "The Santa Clara Players" as a city sponsored cultural
group
- Became a Non-Profit corporation governed by a Board of
Directors
- Began staging at the Hall Pavilion behind the Triton Museum
(currently a 72 seat Theater)
Today
Annual Events
- Produce a 3 or 4 show season at the Hall Pavilion
- Produce "One-Act Plays"as a Community Outreach
- Popular with Schools, libraries various church and senior
citizen clubs
- Member of the Santa Clara Arts and Historical Consortium
